The consultant gastroenterologists at 1 The Quadrant provide care and advice for patients
with acute or chronic gastroenterology disorders relating to the oesophagus, stomach, small
and large bowel, pancreas, liver and bile ducts.
Our specialist interests include patients presenting with heartburn, dyspepsia, reflux, diarrhoea, constipation,
change in bowel habit, weight loss, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain,
hiatus hernia, anaemia and jaundice.
Diagnostic and therapeutic interventions such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and endoscopic
ultrasound; radiological investigations including x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning;
upper and lower GI motility studies and 24 hour oesophageal pH studies are performed at the
Exeter Nuffield Hospital and Royal Devon & Exeter Foundation Trust.
